Trucksmart moving to first class facility in 2020

2020 is serving as an exciting year for Trucksmart Pty Ltd as they move into their own new purpose built facility in Beresfield.  Beresfield being the hub of the transport industry in Newcastle and being in the junction of the Pacific and New England Highways and also offering great access to all the major transport routes throughout NSW.

The new site nearly 3 times the capacity of their existing site at Birraba Avenue serves as a reassurance to existing and future customers that Trucksmart can be relied upon to fulfil their duties in the forever growing commercial transport industry.

Patrick Sumner – Service manager at Trucksmart was excited for the move happening in January 2020. ‘Many of our current service staff have served here for a multiple of years now and this is a great way for them to be rewarded and have some where they can be proud to work at’. ‘It also allows for us to better serve our existing and future customers, with the extra room allowing for smoother and greater service to our customers’. ‘We currently run 2 shifts but the site being built allows for us to potentially run a 24 hour operation and with our current growth trends we sees this as a major opportunity’.

Parts Manager Michael Tonkin was also excited at the new move with a greater storage capacity for the very successful parts compatible with Volvo Trucks & buses. ‘Our new site at Beresfield is allowing us to increase the products we supply and with the extra room available to us it allows for greater opportunities to move into other product ranges which we are currently exploring’.

Trucksmart looks forward to opening its new site in January 2020 located at 8 Canavan Drive, Beresfield.
